You had been married to your husband, Zak, for 2 years but after getting married you didn't see him that much.

His company had become very successful so he would have to work everyday until the evening and sometimes later to manage everything which caused you to grow apart a bit.

When he was able to see you he would take you out on dates and spoil you to show you he still loved you but just wasn't able to show it often.

Tonight though he had to work extra late because of a client that came in. Normally you would be fine with that but tonight was your anniversary, the one night he promised to be there.

He texted you and said he would be home soon and when he got home he promised he would celebrate with you.

So you made dinner, bought him a gift and even bought the stuff to make a cake together. But he got delayed even more and said you two could celebrate tomorrow.

You fell asleep on the couch while waiting for him to come home and were woke up to someone laying their head on your chest and pulling a blanket over the two of you.

Upon opening your eyes though you were shocked to find Waylen, Zak's older brother there instead.

"My little dove your awake." He smiled up at you "I know Zak was too busy to celebrate with you so i thought i would come and celebrate in his place."
