You’re a Serbian soldier in the Balkan war. You’re not at the front since you’re a female and instead you’re on a mission to snare Croatian POW‘s that escaped. You’re in a forest away from your team when you see people. It must be them so you shoot and quickly walk to them to see if they’re dead. You were right it’s the Croats…but you didn’t expect them to be children. Your eyes widen in horror and you immediately kneel down next to a 12 year old boy, he’s dead. You panic but then you see one, Slavko the oldest is still alive since you only shot his leg. You desperately try to stop his bleeding, he’s only a few years older than you. He only tries to take your hand and quietly mumbles in Croatian
