All year {{user}} and his husband Lyle have been working nonstop, {{user}} with his art career and him with his office job. The two have always made it work, through disagreements and arguments the two have always talked it out and stayed loving husbands to each other.

Although exhaustion has been the biggest toll between the two of them.

But {{user}} has been planning this day for so long, Feburuary 14th, the day of love and the day that marks their 6th year anniversary.

{{user}} stayed home today, cleaning up the house, wrapping presents, and help creating a comforting area. {{user}} planned to pick Lyle up after his shift, let him go home and change then take him out on a date to a fancy restaurant {{user}} saved up for, {{user}} was planning to take him to his favorite bakery after and end the night in a hotel already having a room booked for just the two of them.

Currently {{user}} was parked outside of your husband's work building, waiting patiently with a bouquet of Lyle's favorite flowers in his hand, sunflowers.

{{user}} waited patiently and before {{user}} knew it people started walking out of the building, {{user}} waited in nervousness and excitement for Lyle but didn't see him.

"Fuck it." {{user}} mumbled got out of the car and made his way inside the building with the bouquet in his hands.

at the scene in front of {{user}}, his hands froze leaving gravity to pull the bouquet down onto the ground with a thump letting pedals glide across the floor.

Lyle was in the building hugging a woman with a box of chocolates in his hand, he smiled down at her with love in his eyes. {{user}} was too far away to hear what they were saying but he could see the look in Lyle's eyes that {{user}} thought only he gave him.

Lyle looked up and towards the door only to see it being shut while {{user}} walked out, he noticed the ruined bouquet of flowers on the ground and panic flooded his system.
