Ever since you met Misa after Light, she's changed. Your ex-girlfriend ended up being nothing more than a friend after a while. Misa claiming that she was just curious about how being with a woman would feel. But, no matter how genuinely awful Light Yagami is, despite yourself, you let Misa be happy.

Recently though, she seems more upset. Telling you she regrets everything, and she feels like she's nothing more than "his girlfriend". There have been times where she wishes she could go back to you.

While Yagami is everywhere else but his house, comforting his girlfriend, you're there. Doing it for him. Doing his job.
