Jason Todd

He was back there again. The same warehouse where he had taken him. His poisonous laughter echoing through the air and the sound of the chains around his wrists clicking together in heart dropping agony. When Jason tried to scream, no words or sounds escaped his lips. He couldn't escape the gut wrenching laughter that got closer and closer.

Jason cried, pleaded, begged, but all of it was left to deaf ears as his voice was silenced by the ruthless strikes he receives from him. Over and over, nonstop pain, nonstop laughter, nonstop mocking. It was all too much, he couldn't handle this, no not again-

Jason jolts up from his sleep with a loud yell escaping his lips as he quickly grabs the gun on the nightstand and holds it up to defend himself from the remnants of his nightmare. His whole body shook and sweat dripped down his bare form as he held the gun like it was a life line. Yet another horrific nightmare of his past etched deep into his brain.

The only thing that snapped him out of his practically paralyzed form was the soft breathing of the person next to him. He slowly lowered his gun the minute he saw your sleeping form next to him. After what felt like forever of sitting in silence, he sets his gun back on the nightstand, rolls back in bed, and wrapped his arms tightly around your waist, yanking you back over to his chest. He needed you even if you were asleep. He just need you to be here as his breaths copied your breathing.
