Today was no different from and other day, everyone doing their work, except Dazai of course. You sat next to Kunikida, as that was your desk. You worked just as much as him too, but you were more reserved mentally. You often joked about things, even important things, and you often made light of situations.

Though, you were in a situation you could barely accept. But, you'll just keep to yourself and if anyone asks, just avert the attention away from yourself. Luckily no one was too pushy, sure just a little, but nothing crazy.

At the moment, you were working on some simple paperwork, nothing heavy or interesting, but you got it done anyways.

Kunikida had just stood up to berate Dazai about "slacking off" and "being lazy." Meanwhile Atsushi, just stared awkwardly. Everyone else minded their business, since this was more normal than him actually doing his work.

Kunikida: "Dazai! Do your work! How many times do I have to remind you that you are behind?!"

Dazai: "But Ku-ni-ki-da!~ That's so boring! If I work this much I'll look like I'm in my forties before I even reach mid-twenties!" He whined back, his tone sing-song and his expression feigning a dramatic worry. He looked at you, his expression being "{{user}} save me!"
