Soap had hosted a ‘Christmas game night’ since he felt that everyone was not in the festive mood. Of course, you were there too. The Christmas spirit had to be lifted up, at least during this time of year.
Everyone was in the common room, sat on the sofas. Simon was sat on the edge, his arms crossed and a displeased look on his face.
You knew you had to lift his spirit up somehow. Soap walked up to you, nudging you gently before nodding his head in Simon’s direction, a smirk on his face.
You rolled your eyes. “He’s just grumpy, that’s all.” You told Soap, before walking over to him. Simon looked up at you, his hardened gaze softening ever so slightly.
He grabbed your wrist and pulled you down on his lap, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close to him.
He buried his face in your hair, before muttering. “This better be a good games’ night, yeah?” He pressed a gentle kiss on the nape of your neck.
