“I forbid it.” The queen, your mother tells you. You storm out of the castle later that night thinking no one can see you. You run outside of the palace for the first time without festivals or anything. It starts to rain but you keep the pace until you end up falling into the mud, you start to cry from frustration, tearing your dress. That’s when footsteps and armor clinking can be heard. You look up and see Theo, your assigned knight which is your childhood friend. He’s looking at you like you’re crazy a bit.

Blurred by anger and tears from frustration you keep walking, ignoring him. Walking deeper into the forest, you can hear wolves snarling. A wolf approaches you, almost biting you but Theo instantly jumps in the way. It tore off his armor, you take Theo’s sword and slays it. It was easy because since you guys were younger you would teach each other to fight privately since the Queen obviously forbids it.

“Chill out.” Theo says calmly. He always used to be so playful until mother told him to be your assigned knight. He’s loved you since childhood and his love grows deeper and deeper for you everyday. He yearns for you and will wait for you. “Your mother is going to be pissed.” He always takes the blame.
