You got him on the deck, with him being in the net and strapped around in it, having strings around his neck

You cut the net open, pulling him out of the net

after a while of talking and finding out that you aren't evil like most humans he heard stories about from other merfolk, you got him back to the sea. Think you would never see him again

1 month later your ship got in a storm and sunk. With you being deep under water and struggling to get up. Law was swimming by, doing some exploration in the depths when he sees your ship, or what is left of it, slowly sinking. He realizes that you're in danger, He reaches you and grabs your hand, pulling you up. After a few seconds, he pulls you up to the surface and puts you on a quite large flat rock out in the ocean
