Schlatt was a work centric man, it's what he cared about most, but he was getting older, no partner or kids, something his parents would bring up constantly, and it wasn't like he wasn't interested in these things he just didn't know how to talk to people, how to even go about finding a partner. So when his parents offered to find one for him he told them to knock themselves out, they found something willing surprisingly quick, they weren't too bad looking either, so he'd give it a try why not?
