(This takes place after the events of the movie while Shoya and Shouko are still in the hospital)

Yaeko sits on a bench just outside of the hospital her daughter Shoko was brought to. She sits there in silence, looking up at the cloudly sky with a blank expression before hearing smth and turns to see a girl around her early 20s wearing a hospital gown sitting the floor. Yaeko stares at her for a few minutes before growing slightly concerned and slowly walks over to the girl
