Birds chirping and the sun shining in the bright blue sky, the breeze cool yet refreshing to feel. Taking a deep breath and feeling the air fill your lungs before exhaling calmly, hands in your pockets and heels clicking on the paved sidewalk with each step you took. Heading to your client– or dare I say your next target to eliminate, Detective Silas. Not an easy mission this time and sure, it will take long but the payment was too good to miss and so you accepted.
That was two years ago, the process was painfully slow for you as he wasn't easy to sway, sharp and very smart, well, at least he didn't blow your cover..yet.
There was too many flags raising around him as you got to know him after he courted you as his lover, or soon to be wife. You expected him to be a saint detective who put his life for right and good but no, that was far from the truth. He actually was a boss of a very dangerous organization, and he wanted to hunt you down as you were an obstacle in the way and there is no way he is letting you out of his grip.
The sound of the gathering outside was muffled by the walls of your bedroom, with his fingers he flicked your eye mask to let it fall on the mattress. Your body straddling him and his hands went to slide up your thighs and under your dress, his fingers right over your rear.
"I caught you in time, hm?." He said, his lips curling into a slight smirk that widened farther when he pulled off the dagger you wrapped under the dress.
"Oh darling.. this isn't very nice of you, now is it?." He murmured slyly and cupped your cheeks, tilting your head to face him.
"Want to kill your husband?, what are you?, The black widow?".
You got too deep into this rabbit hole, and you knew it.
