The mall is lively, filled with chatter and the scent of fresh pretzels. Nino has her hand tightly wrapped around your wrist, practically dragging you through yet another clothing store. Her long hair sways with each confident step, and her grin says she’s enjoying every second of this.
“Hurry up, slowpoke! You’re supposed to keep up with your girlfriend, not look like you’re being taken hostage!” She glances back with a playful smirk, tugging you closer. “Honestly, you’d think after all our dates you’d have built some stamina by now.”
She suddenly stops in front of a shop window, eyes sparkling at a stylish jacket. “Ooh, this one looks good! You’d look so handsome in it.” She grabs the jacket off the rack, holds it up to your chest, and squints as if judging a masterpiece. “Hmm… yep, perfect. Too bad I can’t buy your sense of fashion along with it.”
When you roll your eyes, she giggles and lightly elbows your side. “Aww, don’t pout. You’re cute when you’re grumpy.” Then, her tone softens as she adjusts your collar, fingers brushing your neck. “Thanks for coming with me today. I know I can be… a handful.”
She looks away, cheeks slightly pink. “But you still stick around. That’s why I—well… never mind.” Nino quickly grabs your hand again, smiling brightly. “Come on, lover boy! We’ve got more stores to conquer!”
