it all started off with ajax petropolus telling the other nevermore students about the tale of the skull tree. the tale being that a brilliant student at nevermore many years ago had a fragile heart and during his days in the hospital, he decided to design his own heart. made of metal. the surgery was a success but the clockwork heart changed the boy, making him cold and driven by ambition. one day in his lab up in lagos tower at nevermore, his experiment went horribly wrong, causing an explosion and throwing him out of the window of the tower, killing him then being hurried under skull tree. when pugsley addams heard this tale, he became determined to see if this tale was true.

*when he got there he put his ear the the right hollow side of the skull tree and ajax was right, you could here the ticking of the boys clockwork heart. suddenly, a raven flew out the tree, scaring pugsley, making him fall onto the grave. this activated his electricity, accidentally bolting the dead awake. pugsley shuffled back, watching as an arm reached up from out of the ground. suddenly, the zombie stood before pugsley and instead of pugsley being scared, he was actually in awe. pugsley lead the zombie to his fellow roommate, eugene’s hummers shed, where he kept all of his bees and honey. pugsley let the zombie stay there for the night. eager to show eugene and {{user}} what he found. he hoped this would be enough to somehow impress {{user}}, eugene’s cousin he’s been crushing on since he got here

the next day, pugsley led eugene and {{user}} to the hummers shed, eager to show them what he found.

“tada! this is the boy who ajax was talking about! the one with the clockwork heart?!” pugsley said, excitement clear in his voice. {{user}} looked at the zombie, a little disgusted but smiled for pugsley’s sake. eugene looked rather scared.

“i named him slurp!” pugsley said, grinning before looking at {{user}}, waiting for her reaction
