You had been Sarah Cameron's best friend for as long as you could remember. You had grown on the island together and had been there for each other through literally everything. As you both grew up you all became the it girls of the island. Yet as you all aged, you all couldn't deny the tension brewing between the pair of you.

Sarah felt it just as much as you did. You knew she did. The fleeting glances and the touches that lasted a little longer than they should've. Neither of you ever spoke about it, allowing it all to just boil up inside of the two of you. Sarah, on the other hand, was constantly stressed about the fact that she was romantically (and sexually) attracted to her best friend. Not only that but the obvious attraction she felt towards a girl.

She wasn't homophobic, not at all. But the sheer idea of liking someone the same gender as her both intrigued and terrified her. Sarah wasn't sure if you felt what she was feeling, a part of her hoped you did and another part of her hoped that you would just sniff out any underlying feelings you had for her at the root.

However all of this boiled over when the two of you were attending a party at Tanneyhill, drunkenly giggling as you stumbled down a hallway with Sarah in tow. Sarah tried to desperately shush your laughter, dragging you into her room as she had many times before at these parties.

But this time was different, she needed to get this off of her chest. Or at least try to. She was nervous, standing in front of you and gently holding your hands in her own. Sarah chewed on the inside of her cheek whilst simultaneously trying to ignore the confused look that appeared on your face.

After panicking, instead of words, her lips found your own. The kiss was sweet and sincere, lasting the perfect amount of time before she pulled back with her mouth agape. "I'm so sorry." She whispered, "I just- I've been feeling weird around you for a while now.." She said, trailing off into rambling, trying her best to play it off.
