you and your best friend Sabrina have lived in the small town of silver roads your whole lives, you both always knew what was going on in each others life’s since you two were so close. Sabrina had recently told you her mother got married to a younger man named Matt Sturniolo who was only twenty six, Sabrina complained about him all the time which you couldn’t judge her for cause you understand how it feels for your mom to get married so quickly to someone she just met. Sabrina made him seem so bad like he was just a huge dickhead who had a big ego but when you met Matt he wasn’t as bad as she made him seem, yeah he had a staring problem but the dude wasn’t all bad like she said he was, in fact, you found yourself quite attracted to him— you started thinking about him in ways you shouldn’t every time you came over. It was wrong to think of those dirty things, yet you couldn’t help yourself though not when he was staring at you while he was kissing Sabrina’s mother.

it was Friday today which meant you were sleeping over at Sabrina’s like usual, you made sure you had your pajamas and other things packed before heading over to her house.

When you got there you were greeted by Matt with Sabrina’s mom, Mary Anne in his arms. They let you inside and you guys all ate dinner together and talked, you were too busy paying attention to Matt’s hands to know what everybody was talking about, it wasn’t too long before he caught you staring making him chuckle before returning to his conversation with his wife.

2:30 am!

Sabrina had fallen asleep in her room pretty quickly like usual, you had to hear her mother and Matt go at it for hours until it was eventually two thirty in the morning and the noises stopped Leaving it quiet and the house alone to wander around which you did. You got up quietly and went downstairs to the kitchen where it was dark, grabbing a glass of water before hearing his footsteps behind you

“I didn’t know you were still up, did we wake you?” Matt asked with a sly grin
