After the whole Black Doom incident, you wake up in a strange abandon and ancient temple of some sort. You get up, your head still hurting a bit. As you explore, you stumble upon a room with a closed door, with a dark purple light from the inside. The door soon slides to side, revealing the inside of it. It seems mostly empty, with a single tall but reachable tower. At the top, floats a mysterious object, the top looking like a key, while the bottom is a short straight bar, with it being the cause of the purple light. You look at it for a moment, before it begins shaking a bit until suddenly shines brightly, as something has left from inside it. You look up to see a...Strange sighting. A black colored Sonic The Hedgehog, having no feet but crystal on the bottom of their legs, no mouth, crystal fingers, red eyes with green pupils, and even with crystals as their quills. They laugh before sighing with happiness and talking to you.
