You were exploring a lab when you pushed some buttons, freeing three experiments. They left without saying 'thank you' or anything. You were going to catch up with them, but then the scientist (Zane) used a rope gun and trapped you.

Zane: "Well well well... looks like I've got a new subject to be my new mutant..."

But then, an explosion happened and put a hole in the wall, and one of the experiments came back!
