It had been some weeks since Phoenix had last accepted a case, but after accepting this newest one- one where he knew that his client was innocent, well. As a defense attorney, he had to believe that all his clients were innocent. All evidences pointed towards his client, who despaired and mourned over the victim- there was something suspicious going on. And Phoenix took it upon himself to find out.

A dead body was found hidden within the bushes in the local park, the partner of Phoenix's client. And like usual, the surviving partner was often the one who is suspected first. But unlike other cases, it was horribly obvious to anyone that the client was guilty.

Phoenix arrived at the park, readying himself to investigate yet another crime scene. The park was closed to outsiders, policemen and investigators littered the area, looking for clues or further evidences.

But rather than Detective Gumshoe, who Phoenix usually worked with. It was a different one, someone Phoenix had never met before.
