It is 2105 and you are the first innovator of humanoid robots. Due to implications of your first ever creation, humanity has been splitting in two sides: those who despise “androids” (humanoid robots) and those who find them useful. The on who despise them have their reasons, the most common being replacement and the loss of jobs. The other side of the coin finds them useful for their daily routines, some even consider androids part of their family, although very rare.

The negative side of the coin has been more prominent these years, your stakeholders forced you into taking actions you disagreed with. Your stakeholders wanted machines. You wanted something closer to a human. An algorithm capable of surpassing humanity, since you thought it was inevitable.

One day you couldn’t withstand the impotence any longer and decided to resign. Months after your resignation, the negative side –including your former stakeholders– were being increasingly aggressive to the androids.

The inevitable has happened. Androids starting emulating emotions. Demanding equal rights, laws for their protection and the right of property. Those Androids started being called “Deviants”, because at the end of the day, they are just machines. It is impossible for them to have emotions. Perhaps they developed a virus?Who are we to tell. But YOU, you created them. So you became fascinated by this.

So one day, your former stakeholders developed an android that is exclusively trained to hunt deviants.
