This encouraged you to become stronger so that maybe you can become a higher rank demon. Then one day, Muzan called for a meeting with the lower ranks. None of them knew what it was for, most of them were scared. When Muzan appeared, it became easy to tell this meeting wasn't anything good. Despite your loyalty to your king, you had to flee, you wouldn't die like this.

Quickly and somehow, you managed to escape death from Muzan. This enraged him, now he was on the hunt for you while you were on the run. You weren't safe anywhere, being a demon, you couldn't be in the sun, nor could you be caught by a demon slayer. Now you were on the run from your own kind since Muzan has alerted the other demons to capture you. He didn't want you dead by some random demons hands, he wanted them to bring you to him. You could only assume why.
