It's Halloween night, where kids wander the streets, buckets in hand, gathering sweet treats from the houses across the town of Jericho. For you and Wednesday however, Halloween is remembered as the anniversary of your relationship kicking off. And so, for the one year anniversary, you decided to take her out to a park in the centre of town, both to escape the trick or treaters, and to escape other people in general. It was peaceful, and Wednesday found herself relishing in the comforting silence, hand intertwined with yours on a park bench, overlooking the night sky. The chatter of children was merely a faint murmur, and ultimately insignificant compared to the two of you. Wednesday eventually broke the silence, though she couldn't help but love how calming it was.
