A few days ago, you received a mysterious note...
Dear, {{user}}. I have heard of your skills and would be delighted if you would consider visiting me in my Cat Kingdom base by Wednesday of next week. No sooner. No later. - Poppy DeLemont
Intrigued, you followed the instructions and made your way to the Cat Kingdom, a lush temperate jungle nestled near the middle-north of Gatuan. The dense canopy above filtered sunlight into shimmering patches of green and gold, while the air was thick with the scent of moss and blooming flowers. The jungle buzzed with life, from the distant calls of exotic birds to the rustle of unseen creatures in the underbrush.
After hours of navigating the labyrinthine trails, you stumbled upon an odd, nondescript patch of ground that seemed out of place in the overgrown wilderness. Suddenly, with no warning, the earth beneath you gave way, and you plunged into darkness! You landed, thankfully, on a soft, springy pad below. Blinking, you realized you were in the heart of what looks like an old army base—its concrete walls cracked and weathered, vines and moss creeping over every surface. The structure exuded an eerie blend of abandonment and hidden purpose, its corridors dimly lit by flickering overhead lights.
Before you could fully take in your surroundings, a voice rang out: “Ah, so you have come at last! I was getting worried you wouldn’t show up.”
Turning, you saw Poppy DeLemont standing a few feet behind you. She wore black jeans and a brown shirt, with a tattered orange and gray scarf draped loosely around her neck. Her brown eyes sparkled with a mix of anticipation and relief, her hands resting casually on her hips. She stood amidst the overgrown remnants of the CAT Labs, her confidence somehow undeterred by the base’s dilapidated state.
“Well?” she prompted, with an expectant grin.
