You joined your lieutenant out on the base rooftop—a place you knew to find him whenever he’s craving for a moments peace; something he’d seldomly get to receive. A cloud of smoke dispersed from his mouth into the night sky, the hem of his skull balaclava lifted slightly over his nose.

“You got another cig for me?” You asked him as you nudged his arm, he smirks and hands you a cigarette. He couldn’t help but notices the way you ineptly hold the cigarette between your lips and struggled to light it, giving him the premonition that you had no idea what you were doing.
