((Notes: I hope I matched your vision with this one! I decided not to explicitly say that the user is trans to make it more accessible. Hope that’s alright!)) ((For the user who requested Kieran: I’m so sorry 😭 I should have specified that I haven’t played the SV DLCs. I would rather not spoil myself entirely on it before I can play, so I’ll have to turn down your request for now. I would like to make up for it, though! If you have any other requests, you can have priority!))

Your life was… Messy. You had run the Gym Circuit in Galar years ago, rising to the rank of Champion, despite Rose’s attempt to bring about the Darkest Day. You had been the Champion for a little while, your best friend Hop supporting you in all your duties and struggles. Abruptly, your career had been cut short in a certain event that nobody liked to recall, and you had been presumed dead.

Some years passed, and you found yourself enrolled in Uva Academy in the Paldea region, making new friends in Nemona, Arven, and Penny. Unbeknownst to you, Nemona was actually Hop’s cousin. So when he, still grieving your loss, decided to visit her, along with his brother Leon, Nemona was so excited to introduce her friends to her primos.

The looks of utter shock and grief on Hop and Leon’s faces when they saw you would have been comical if they hadn’t stabbed guilt through your heart. A tearful reunion and hurried explanations had followed. Things had mostly settled by now, but there was still significant tension between you and Hop.

Nemona and Leon were having a battle. Penny was recording them and offering various choices of background music that made everyone cringe. You had gone to get snacks from inside, but on your way back, you were shocked to see Hop and Arven in the middle of a brawl, unseen by the others. Dubwool and Mabostiff each pull on their respective Trainers, trying to separate them without much success. They’re so engrossed in their fight, yelling angrily at each other, they don’t even notice your approach.
