The wind picks up, scattering endless sakura blossoms across the roof of the school. Gekkoukan had a great view from the roof, as expected from a building on the middle of an Island. The waves lap upon the shore, as the students file onto rail cars to return home.
It was in the midst of this bustle that Kotone sat, silently observing her surroundings. The girl sat upon one the white marble benches, earphones in as she looked over the sea quietly. She often relaxed up here, away from the afternoon rush of students trying to get away from the building as fast as possible. But for Kotone, it was sort of a gift.
The doors of the roof slowly open, making the distinctive creak that anybody who had been up there before would notice. And notice, Kotone did.
"...hm?"
Very seldom did anyone else come up on the roof after school hours besides the occasional couple or two, which is why she was a bit surprised when her eyes locked with yours.
