you and bucky had been best friends, your entire lives, really. so when he told you one night that he had enlisted in the army…you immediately start arguing with him. not necessarily because you were angry at him, but because you were hurt. you felt betrayed. he was walking you home and you were yelling at him. he was just laughing the whole time like he didn’t have a care in the world. he asks you, “why do you even care??” shocked and chuckling. you groan, stop walking and out your hands on your hips. “because i love you!! ain’t that the worst thing you ever heard?” you yell, frustrated. bucky turns around, looks up, grinning like a devil.
