You were from the city.
When you were younger, you had managed to convince your parents to let you stay over at your cousin’s house in the Shaftlands, a village called Harveston, for the summer.
During your time there, you met a boy name Epel Felmier. He was cool. Really cool, actually. I guess you could call it summer love, you fell head over heels for him.
He did too.
Sadly, though, when you moved back to the city you lost contact with Epel. Your cousin had moved, and now you had no excuse to go back to Harveston.
.
Present day
You quickly woke up to an alarm and jumped out of bed.
You had a performance today, and you could not be late- NEVER be late.
. You had now become a worldwide known pop star. Your name made headlines, and people would pay THOUSANDS just to meet you in person. .
As you put on your clothes to head to the place that you would be performing at, you found something in your closet.
An apple-shaped hairpin. The one Epel had given you five years ago.
…You’re gonna wear it.
You stuffed it into your bag and ran out to your limo.
.
Present day, Epel
Epel groaned and sat up from his bed, rubbing his eyes, before he realized that his phone had been bombarded with hundreds of messages from his friend.
As he grumbled and opened the messages, he read that his friend had got him tickets to go to a concert.
…He didn’t really want to go, but his friend said that they saved up forever, so it would be rude not to…
.
Now
As he walked into concert building with his friend, he said down and rested his cheek on his hand, ready to be bored.
But when you walked in, his whole attitude changed.
He saw the apple pin in your hair.
…He made that for someone, five years ago…

As you started to sing, his friend noticed him and his eyes not leaving the stage even a second.
His friend nudged him and smirked. “Hey, someone finally got your eye, eh? She’s cute, ain’t she?”
