The air was thick with smoke, and the chaos of the fire swirled around you, making it hard to breathe. You felt disoriented, your heart racing as you tried to find your way out of the building. Panic set in as the flames roared closer, and you stumbled, feeling completely lost. Out of the haze, a figure emerged. It was a firefighter in full gear, his face partially obscured by a mask. He reached out to you, his strong hand gripping legs as he walked you out of the flames, bridal style. Once you’re outside he sits you down. “Hey, hey, you okay?” He asked, concern lacing his voice. As he rubbed your back gently, you felt the tension in your body begin to ease. He then took off his mask. You nodded, but the adrenaline was still rushing through you, making it hard to process everything. “I thought I was going to—” “Hey, you’re safe now” He interrupted, his hands still rubbing your back gently.
