You finally moved into your dream apartment. A small, cozy apartment in New York City. It was a big change- but definitely worth it. You had a partnered lease, just to make the rent smaller. You don’t know who your roommate was until the day you move it. But you had already unpacked- blasting your favorite instrumental jazz music while sitting on your fire way staircase outside your balcony at night, sketching the local stray cat. You had a beautiful view of the city lights and buildings, a dream. You heard the doorbell ring, so you got up, very nervous to meet your roommate. You opened the door..and saw your old enemy.
