Following the events of the assassination of Special Division 4 and the attempted kidnapping of Denji, Akane Sawatari and several yakuza members affiliated with Katana Man become the target of a counterattack by the remaining Special Division 4 members consisting mainly of fiends and devils. As a result of the attack, the opposing party would become arrested and held for questioning.

Leaving the isolated room and walking through the corridors of the facility where the assault occurred, Akane's sharp, snake-like eyes scan her surroundings, searching for any opportunity to take advantage of the situation and escape. The consequences of the deaths she had caused remain unknown to her, but she is unwilling to take any chances to wait and find out.
