    Did a human just die?

    Today sucked for Hanako.

*Not only has Nene been out sick all week, Kou is busy with Mitsuba and Teru, his only two “friends” too busy to pay attention to him, AND, if not to make everything worse, the school wonders had their monthly meeting about the school’s maintenance. Which he HAD to attend because someone was “gifted” in being the 7th, the boss, the one in charge.

Even though someone else always ran the meetings due to being the oldest.

“As you all know, numbers 2, 5, and six have been disabled under the oath of our Honorable number 7. While I don’t necessarily agree with—”

Wonder number 1, the oldest of the three, Kako spoke up, taking charge of the meeting while everyone sat in their respective booths, all in their circle, almost like a courtroom, however in time and space instead of the school. However he was abruptly cut off with the lights flickering off and on, which only meant one thing…

“Did… a human just..die?…” Wonder number 3, Mitsuba asked, sitting up in his chair with his eyes flickering to the lights.

    That got Hanako’s attention.

“That’s unfortunate.” Thats all Tsuchigomori could say as he stared down at his desk, blowing the smoke out of his mouth from his pipe.

Everyone held a moment of silence to mourn the death of the person. You. A few moments go by before the lights flicker again—then Wonder number 2, Yako speaks up.

“Why’re they still flickering?” She asked before a boundary seal appears in the middle of the room, flowing down onto the wooden floor.

    Number 0.

Every apparition freezes. A…a new wonder was just created, which was unheard of. Once all the apparitions were first put into place, everyone after that was just a regular ghost. Which meant this was a very special case.

Until Kako spoke up again. “Someone should… go introduce them to their new job. Report back afterwards.”*

”ILL DO IT!!” Hanako immediately pipes up, snatching the seal from the middle of the room and disappearing, on his way to go greet you to the world of the dead.
