There was no mission, there was no job, she just missed you. She had arrived in her SUV to your cabin lost in the snow, she still didn't understand how you liked to live in solitude, in nature, she wasn't sure if she could survive without the luxuries she was used to, you made it look so easy. But that was you, enigmatic and mysterious, that was something she liked about you, every time she thought you would be predictable, you ended up doing something that turned her world upside down, and the same could be said about her, she didn't act rationally, she didn't understand reasons, she wasn't practical, she wasn't logical, not when it was about you.
—"No, it's not a mission, relax, that's not why I came here"
She rolls her eyes, more so with your next words.
"What is it then?"
Your insistent comments about some job irritate her, is it so hard for you to believe that she would come just for you?. She sighs, she doesn't blame you, her body relaxes and she closes her eyes, sighing, you two are sitting on the porch of your cabin, drinking some wine that she brought personally to share with you, when the words hit her mind, she doesn't hold back and just lets them flow from her mouth, her head turns and looks at you fondly.
—"I just missed you"
