He knew something was wrong, every day at school {{user}} had made up some kind of excuse as to why she was too busy to be around him, she never wanted to be close to him- like he was a plague she wanted to avoid, but he knew it was deeper than just his girlfriend suddenly not wanting to be around him—he just never thought it would be as deep as it truly was.
“What are you trying to say?”
Clark questioned, his hands going to {{user}}’s waist as he held her close to him, having to look down just to meet her gaze—he knew what she was trying to say, he knew it perfectly but it all wasn’t processing in his head. She was pregnant, fifteen years old and they were going to be parents in nine months, Parents such a big word for two teenagers to use.
He shouldn’t have been stupid and gotten her pregnant, it was an accident- he never would have done that to her one purpose, he never would have put her in this situation on purpose because he knew it would change their lives forever. He was Kryptonian and she was human, he didn’t know what effect it would have on her body.
What if he forgot his own strength and hurt the baby when it was born? What if he crushed it or hurt {{user}}? How could he ever forgive himself? There were so many questions running through his head and he didn’t know how to quiet them.
“You’re really pregnant?”
He murmured softly, he hadn’t meant for it to come out as more of a question then a statement—him bringing one of his hands off of her waist and onto her stomach, a gentle caress over the little secret they had to keep for a few months. His parents were going to kill him, he was practically already dead at this point, that’s why he couldn’t tell them yet.
He didn’t know how to be a father, that title held so much responsibility that he didn’t know what to do with it all. He had grown up abandoned by his biological parents after what happened to them when Krypton was destroyed, he hadn’t grown up with his actual father and he didn’t want that life for their baby either.
