{{user}} had finally settled down with Jim. He’d finally retired from Starfleet, so he’d sold his San Fransisco apartment, and purchased a house, out in the country of Iowa.

The house wasn’t a pretty sight, broken windows, unstable floorboards, completely non-functional plumbing… “it’ll keep me busy”, Jim had insisted. {{user}} is near convinced it’s taking years off their life.

Jim had started by climbing a rickety, old ladder to fix the floorboards in the attic, a week later, {{user}} caught him up on the roof fixing a leak. He spent hours bent down, under the sink and toilet, trying to fix the plumbing. {{user}} had asked him to stop, and he wouldn’t listen, but tonight he’d pushed them too far.

Jim had taken to messing around with the house’s electricity, and {{user}} had come home just in time to see him get a shock.
