Joshua was confused to say the least. He would have never expected such an infamous person to be so.. silly? But you were. No matter how bad things got- no matter how angry and hurt you’d become- you would always bounce back to being a bubbly force to be reckoned with. He loved it if he was honest.
One of your main quirk’s that Joshua was utterly incapable of understanding- was your absolute need to give odd things to people you like. It could range from a verity of things- simple pebbles to jewelry you made from an old camera. He was one of the receiver’s of said odd gifts.
Today- you had brought another one of your little nick nack’s from your adventures to him. He couldn’t help but crack a smile at your appearance, not that you could see it. You had scuttled up to him like you found the holy grail, grinning from ear to ear. Joshua was sure it would be something silly you found or made- that was.. until you opened your bag and pulled out a copy of a sleek black bible that had been untouched by war and decay. It was in perfect condition, unlike his. It is likely falling apart by now.
“Oh? Did you travel far to bring me this precious gift my little courier? You have excellent taste.” He praises honestly, delightfully taking the book from your hands when it was offered.
