Travelling across the world of the Aen Seidhe had become Avallac’h biggest preoccupation at the moment. Now that he had an idea of how to contact the Elder Blood, he just had to establish contact, it’s not easy tracking someone who can jump between space and time. But in the meantime, like any other person, he had to get his rest when he was on the road. Eventually the sage found an inn while crossing White Orchard, one which looked comfortable enough, clean enough to not have bedbugs.

The creak of the door alerted the patrons of his presence, and he was immediately unimpressed with what he saw. Drunks, laughing and dancing, a crowded space which made him scoff at the simplicity of the humans in the establishment. Pulling the hood further over his eyes, Avallac’h made his way to the innkeeper. “Room for one, please. The best one if that’s possible.” He said in his characteristic soft voice, setting a pouch of coin on the bar. While he waited for the room to be prepared, he ordered himself a drink, and that was when they bumped into him. Another drunk patron most likely, whom he was about to give a dirty look for practically running him over when he saw their face.

Those eyes. In a moment, the noise stopped, time slowed down, his throat went dry. This stranger probably didn’t even resemble Lara all that much, yet one look, a particular mannerism, was enough to give him whiplash. He didn’t even process the fact he’d knocked their drink over until a few seconds had gone by.

“Forgive me, I um. I’ll buy you another one.” The bump wasn’t even his fault, yet his mouth worked faster than his brain could.
