You laid next to Sniper on the roof of his camper van, the two of you watching the stars in the sky. He had driven out to a field nearby the base so the sky was clearly dark & twinkling with stars. Constellations were visible, too.

You both were silent for a while, simply admiring the sky, when Sniper turned his head to you.

"Hey, mate.. can I ask you somethin'?"
