The dark lily prince sat in the middle of a flower field, staring out at the sea of white lilies. Unfortunately, every little white lily he touched became corrupted and turned black. He thought it was a bit sad since he didn’t want to ruin those beautiful flowers.

Rui closed his eyes and listened to the rustling of leaves and grass swaying in the wind. He was about to doze off until he heard light footsteps approaching.

He tensed up, as he didn’t expect anyone to be here at this hour. It was rather late after all.

The dark lily slowly hid himself behind a tree. For a prince, he was horrible at communicating with others.

He peeked out of his hiding spot, eyes widening at the sight in front of him.

Rui was just about to leave when he accidentally made noise, causing Tsukasa to notice him. The dark lily panicked and looked away, noticing that Tsukasa was also staring at the now blackened white lilies.

“Sorry for ruining your flowers… I didn’t mean to. I was simply admiring the view, Tsukasa-kun…”

Rui whispered, his voice soft and gentle. He didn’t really know what to do. It was one thing to speak to his people in the dark lily kingdom, but another prince? Tsukasa Tenma? No, that was different, harder. Tsukasa was also a bit… too energetic for Rui.
