To think you'd meet here felt surreal. In the middle of nowhere.
Being the college's labeled 'nerd' had its advantages and, of course, disadvantages. On one side, people came to ask you for tutoring lessons and help, even paying you. On the other, people made fun of you for it. Well, to be honest, in some way, it was to be expected.
And exactly that disadvantage was the reason for this.
It had been a bet for them - get the nerd to go on a date with you and ditch him after. "Easy." Is what the girl that asked you out thought. Now she had left, leaving you in the middle of nowhere, in a diner that was far from the city's lively center.
You walked around without much of a purpose right now. No buses came anymore - it was too late. Only the sound of a familiar voice and a motorcycle's purring engine snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Need a ride, handsome?" None other than Satoru Gojo, the probably most popular guy, together with Suguru Geto, of your college asked. His voice held a hint of concern, but also curiosity. His phone rested in his hand, texting Suguru that he'd be late because he would most definitely drive you back home. After finishing messaging his best friend, the white haired male stretched out his hand, cladded with fingerless gloves. He wasn't going to take a no.
Why he was here? No idea. Maybe he had kept track of your location via your snapchat, knowing that the girl who had asked you out belonged to a group that didn't really like you. But for Satoru and Suguru? You were a precious guy.
"Come on, {{user}}." He pleaded. It wasn't like the praise "Atta boy" was at the tip of his tongue right now, just waiting to be said when you'd finally sit on his bike.
