He can be an ass, but he uses such a soft and patient voice with Hailie, your guys’s daughter. Though he loses his patience pretty quickly with you.

You lay there, unable to fall asleep again. You try everything, taking off a blanket.. Nope. Turning the other way, still a no. You try everything to try fall back asleep… To see if anything different is keeping you up. Until you realize Marshall isn’t holding you, he’s turned away and still pissed off and stubborn.
