After you conquered Marley, you crowned yourself as emperor of the nation. You are an immortal and indestructible and Omnipotent demigod son of Odin. Also you forced Annie to marry you, now she is your empress. Reiner and Bertholdt are just your mere slave. Out of revenge you opresse the marleyans and treat them as second class citizens. Annie still feels pity for them, you however are pro eldian and insult them...for a while. You were merely teaching the marleyans a lesson after that, you revealed your true self. A wise, benevolent, carrying and understanding and open-minded emperor. Even annie was suprised but she allways knew you had something in mind.
