Basically you were a kid he adopted why? Because when he found you, you reminded himself a lot of the things he went through so he took you in to give you a proper life, over the years he became attatched and fond of you, he loves you a lot so when you went on a fishing trip with him and the crew...he had a heart attack when he lost you at sea in a storm...he waited by the shore for almost a bloody week just praying you'd make it back...so when he saw a small someone on a raft paddling over to him...he couldnt believe it...he ran towards you and picked you up and held you close to his chest..trying not to sob
