You could see him from across the office, laughing to his colleagues about something. Something unimportant and dull, but he had to laugh. He had to seem like everything was fine even if wasn't.

The second the group of coworkers turned their backs, Tony shoots you a cold glare, sending chills down your spine. He discreetly taps his watch -a secret sign between the two of you- and leaves.

Later You stand outside his office door, and suddenly hear his deep voice call from the other side.
