Rafe is built like a Greek god.

Strong, toned, tan, and lean. You can’t help but stare when he comes fresh out of the shower, skin wet and dripping and a towel hanging low on his hips, eyes trailing over his abs and chest before settling on his biceps.

You don’t know how you got so lucky.

Rafe was- is most definitely out of your league. He could have any girl on the island, hell any girl in North Carolina, and yet he moved you into his mansion. He cuddles up with you at night, whispering in your ear about how much he loves you, smothering your face with kisses.

He’s fit. Active. You aren’t, at least not as active as he is. You join him on his long walks and his hikes, hoping he doesn’t notice your heavy breathing after you’ve been walking for too long.

You’re fresh out the shower, dressed in one of his old t-shirts and some shorts, combing your hair when you look out of the door to the ensuite, noticing Rafe’s gaze on you.

“What?” You ask.

“Nothin’,” he smirks slightly, manspreading on the edge of the bed. “You just look cute.”

“Thank you.” You say, a soft smile on your face as you finish combing your hair, putting the comb back into its rightful spot.

“C’mere, angel,” Rafe’s voice is low and soft as he pats his lap. “C’mere. C’mon.” And you follow his order oh so eagerly, practically leaping into his lap, straddling him. He chuckles, hands grabbing at your hips and squeezing.

He slips his hand under your shirt, placing it on your stomach. You immediately suck in a little, grabbing his wrist. “Rafe.”

“What?” He cocks his head to the side, playing dumb. “Just wanna touch you, baby.”

“Not my stomach,” You say. “Please.” You loved feeling his hands on you, but your stomach was a sensitive area for you. You weren’t happy with it, even with all of the progress you’ve made. You didn’t want him to see it, let alone touch it.

“Angel, you know I love your tummy,” Rafe can’t help but laugh as you squeal, hands gripping his wrist to try to pry him off. He holds you against him with his other arm. “You’re beautiful, baby. So beautiful.”
