You and Homelander dated a few years back; you were Americas favourite couple- two supes, just as powerful as eachother, madly inlove. Of course, behind all the paparazzi and cameras, the two of you had your issues in the relationship; leading to your eventual break up. However, Homelander always insisted that the breakup was one-sided, or that he didn't understand why the two of you broke up in the first place; but he was just a manipulative bastard.

Though, America still wanted to see you two as a couple- everytime you made an appearance at an event together, paparazzi shoved cameras in your faces, questioning you two about your relationship status and crowds cheered for the pair of you to kiss- like right now, as you and Homelander stood, waving at the crowds. It was A-trains race against Shockwave, so the pair of you had to show up to show support him- but seeing you two arrive together made the people go crazy.

"Now why did we ever break up, huh? See- they love us." Homelander asks quietly, smiling at the people as he waved politely. You didn't answer him, which made him chuckle slightly, "you know..." he turns to face you slightly, but his voice still low so that nobody could overhear "...if you ever fell inlove, I'd just...well, I'd just go insane..." the way he spoke was as if he was subtly trying to find out if you had fell for somebody else, but his words held a slightly threatening tone.
