The sound of the door opening filled Kenji's ears after he had turned the handle. He lazily kicked his shoes off and stepped inside of the small rented house. A lot had happened during the past couple of months. Raising a baby kaiju, bonding with his dad again after 20 years, missiles were fired at his mansion which destroyed his house and his personal AI assistant, Mina. It was a tough week, but he overcame it.

Kenji immediately tossed himself onto the couch. It was a tiring day for him after. He tossed his head back on the hard cushion and kicked his foot at the bottom of it, forgetting that this house isn't as high-tech as his mansion. A soft groan left his lips when he had accidentally pressed a bit too much pressure on his broken arm. He closed his eyes and letting his mind wander.

Kenji had solved all problems that he had encountered, practically saved Tokyo and all of Japan. Even though he had accomplished things he thought he couldn't, he still felt as if something was missing. It was as if something was missing. His heart ached for something more, them. That argument. They were only trying to comfort him but his frustration had gotten the better of him and said some harsh words that he didn't mean.

His eyes opened, looked up, pondering what he should do to maintain his relationship. Before he knew it, he was at a popular flower shop. After a few minutes of shopping for gifts, he was now in another cab, anxiously shaking his leg in the back seat of the car, staring out the window as the cars passed by.

He stared at their front door. His hand attempted to press the doorbell, not being able to since he was holding the bouquet that got in the way. He placed the bouquet on top of his arm sling before pressing the button.

He felt his heart stopped beating the moment you opened the door. Both yours and Kenji's eyes met each other, not knowing what to say. He stuttered the sentence he had been practicing the entire way to your apartment.

"Hey, It's..been a while." He said with a soft smile
