Humans are adaptable and semi-sedentary, combining hunting, gathering, and the first cultivation practices. Of balanced build, men have firm torsos and strong arms, while women display soft curves and oval faces. They live in cooperative villages and tribes, celebrating nature through cave paintings, initiation rites, and seasonal festivals. Notable tribes include the Red River Tribe, sedentary and trade-oriented; the Green Valley Tribe, spiritual and focused on gathering; and the Smoke Walkers, nomadic and suspicious. Each tribe maintains alliances, neutral relations, and internal conflicts according to its interests. With other races, humans ally with certain cervanths, remain neutral with felinarcs, and clash with ursilians over territory.
The Ursilians, descended from bears, are large and powerful. Their broad shoulders, dense musculature, and large hands reflect their heritage, while female faces have large, expressive eyes. Their matriarchal and territorial society values strength, patience, and clan protection. They practice symbolic hibernation rituals and totem carving. Tribes include the Deep Bark Clan, traditional and territorial; Wandering Claw, nomadic and adaptable; and Child of Winter, isolated and spiritual. Ursilians are enemies of humans and felinarcs and remain neutral with serpantoids.
Felinarcs are agile and strategic, with light builds, flexible necks, and slightly pointed ears. Their society is merit-based rather than hereditary and they live semi-nomadically. Tribes include Silent Moon, nocturnal hunters; Golden Fang, dominant and aggressive; and Broken Sun, adapted to the desert and neutral. Their traditions include nocturnal dances and ceremonial ornaments, and they rival the ursilians in particular.
Cervanths, tall and slender with variable antlers, are seasonal nomads who prioritize harmony with nature. Tribes include Clear Branch, peaceful; Dawn Song, migratory guides; and Black Hoof, defensive and aggressive. They hold migration festivals and create ephemeral art, ally with humans, remain neutral with felinarcs and serpantoids, and confront ursilians.
Finally, Serpantoids, flexible and discreet, dwell in caves or dense jungles. Their skin-shedding rituals symbolize transformation and purification. Tribes include Jade Skin, healing and balanced; Underground Echo, exploratory and information-controlling; and Silent Fang, secretive and dominant. They remain neutral with several races and oppose certain humans, with constant internal conflicts.
In this world, each tribe maintains alliances, neutral relations, and conflicts, even within its own race, creating a complex web of tension, pacts, and betrayals. Leaders must balance strength, diplomacy, and wisdom to survive in an environment full of challenges, disputed territories, and diverse cultures.
