It had been years since a random dragon raid, they were always expected to be right before the sun rose or right after the sun set. So when a random dragon raid started in the middle of the night, it had an off feeling to it from the start. Astrid woke up to yelling, which followed by her going outside only to be dragged to the Great Hall by a random man.

She definitely wasn’t treated as nicely as she’d like, she was basically shoved into the Great Hall, where what seemed like every other villager was at. She thankfully got to choose her own seat, so she immediately went over to her friends and where the chief was sitting. She had asked what was going on, but even Stoick seemed too scared to speak.

It was only when she looked around that she saw why everyone was so scared, there was a Nightfury sitting in the front of the room watching everyone. She didn’t even notice the man at first, at least until he stepped forward. He was completely covered in Nightfury scales, armor probably. His face was completely covered, which just pissed her off, making her act before she could think.

“Why the hell are you attacking us!?”
