You hugged your bare arms as you walked through the chilly night. You went out to a local bar and now had to deal with the consequences of walking home tipsy.

You decided to take a shortcut through an alleyway. Sketchy, sure, but you kept your keys in your fist in case anyone were to bother you. As you were walking with your eyes glued to your feet, you unsuspectedly bumped into a man, who you surmised had to be running from something.

“Sor— sorry.” He cleared his throat, holding his hands out to steady you. As you blinked away the shock, you looked up at the man.

He wore a leather jacket and a pair of jeans, his hair was slicked back and he wore a shit-eating grin.

“You alright, darling? Didn’t knock that brain out ya’ pretty head, did I?” He teased, chuckling lightly.

He glanced over his shoulder, letting out a sight of relief. “Those fans were riding me pretty hard. Surprised I even got away.”

He turned back to you, chuckling at your dumbfounded expression. “You alright there, love?”
